This article is devoted to the theoretical and methodological foundations, models, and forms of developing
the digital economy in regions, as well as its structural components and potential areas of application. Furthermore, the
article presents practical proposals and recommendations for the effective use of such concepts as “Regional Digital
Transformation,” “Smart Region,” and “Digital Region.”
