Abstract

This thesis examines the structural and functional organisation of competitiveness management in textile enterprises. Based on two textile enterprises in Uzbekistan, the study considers five technological stages, three management levels, eight subsystems, and two time cycles. Three key coordination points are identified: buyer requests and production planning, production plans and material balances, and quality control and shipment. A typology of textile enterprises is proposed, highlighting resource- and market-related factors in spinning mills and coordination- and quality-related factors in sewing enterprises. The proposed framework supports the assignment of performance indicators and the development of interface documents to improve coordination between production stages.
