BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY AND ITS IMPACT ON SECURE DIGITAL TRANSACTIONS

Blockchain technology has emerged as one of the most significant innovations in the field of
digital information systems, providing a decentralized, transparent, and secure framework for conducting digital
transactions. As organizations increasingly adopt digital platforms for financial operations, data exchange, and
business processes, ensuring transaction security has become a critical challenge. This study aims to analyze
the impact of blockchain technology on secure digital transactions, identify its advantages and limitations, and
evaluate its role in enhancing trust and transparency within digital ecosystems. The research methodology
is based on a systematic review of scientific literature, comparative analysis of blockchain applications, and
assessment of empirical findings from various industries. The results indicate that blockchain significantly
improves transaction security, reduces fraud risks, enhances transparency, and eliminates the need for
intermediaries. However, challenges such as scalability, regulatory uncertainty, and energy consumption
continue to affect widespread adoption. The study concludes that blockchain technology has substantial potential
to transform digital transaction systems while requiring continuous technological and regulatory development.
